I took train from Prague, Czech Republic to Bratislava, Slovakia for 7 euros. Slovakia was my 25th country and it was just before my 25th birthday! The highlight of the Bratislava adventure, was the UFO tower. The views were superb and my friend told them we were celebrating my birthday. It was a great way to kick off my birthday month of January! Most of the time in Bratislava was spent wandering around aimlessly, but we found some great establishments! Like the following tea room! Based on the sign, we expected it to be a British tea room, but it ended up being a Middle Eastern inspired tea house. It was pouring down raining on the day we visited, so it was a welcome break from the rain! And then...we visited a cat cafe! Are you surprised? I seek out cat cafes everywhere I go! We met the owners who were lovely and rescued many of these cats themselves.
