First of all, sorry for the lame title. At least it is better than my original idea, "Fabulous Friday." All of my creativity is going toward my last few papers and travel writing portfolio. At least it would be if I was actually working on my homework like I should be. Instead, I've been reading Anglotopia and Anglophenia articles whilst playing Coldplay's just-released single, "A Sky Full of Stars," on repeat (seriously on repeat, it played six times as I wrote this post!) Speaking of music, my iPhone did something wonderful today. After months of unsuccessfully Googling, randomly pressing buttons, and consulting iTunes instructions manual to get my new music on my iPhone, it magically transferred today without me even trying! Thank you iPhone, it has been a rough few months not having my newest British music on my phone! Much of this new British music comes from my new-ish obsession with Bastille's music. They're even approaching Mumford and Sons and Coldplay territory! I also discovered that London is home to one of the greatest places ever: a cat café! Oh my goodness, I cannot wait to visit this place. Tea and spending time with rescued cats!? I just love that that is a thing! Skating today was far more productive than homework: I landed some throw doubles in pairs and did a clean freeskate run through! I've only been pairs skating for about two months, but I've learned so much and always have a blast. So if anyone knows of a 6'4" guy looking for a partner... Back to the British-ness, My dinner tonight was British-influenced with the presence of baked beans. It might not look that impressive, but having three burners going at once is a bit of a challenge! I came home today to find this: After making the below pictured banana's foster oatmeal this morning (recipe from The Oatmeal Artist; also check out her blog tomorrow for my second guest appearance!) I apparently thought the oatmeal needed refrigerated alongside the almond milk...I blame schoolwork. And before you're totally bored, I have one last culinary creation that needs shared: Chocolate Covered Katie's pumpkin peanut butter cups! They were quite successful! Questions of the day: Do you ever do stupid things around stressful times like finals? Do you have any musical obsessions at the moment?

Hey, it's better to put oats in the fridge than to put almond milk in the cupboard! :)

Yes, I am very pleased that at least the oatmeal is still usable! Your poor oatmeal waiting around all day in the sink...that sounds like something I would do too! :P
