In June, I went to Florida, starting with a family vacation on Sanibel Island and then an adventure over to Miami and the Florida Keys. Sun Harvest Citrus in Fort Myers has some of the best orange juice in the world and is always one of the first stops after getting off the airplane. Sanibel and Captiva Islands are home to manatees, dolphins, and lots of birds! I've always wanted to experience an ice bar and when the weather was 90 degrees outside, we found one in Miami. Everything was made out of ice, even the chairs and glasses! Even with the provided parka, it was freezing! For a taste of Cuba, Miami's Little Havana cannot be missed! With authentic Cuban restaurants, the famous Domino Park, and Cuban stores and art galleries, it feels like another country. ![]() From Miami, we took the long drive through the Florida Keys. One of the stops was Key Largo for some coffee with a little Key Lime Pie cookie. We stopped at Little Torch Island for lunch and continued on to Stock Island, where our Airbnb for the night was a sailboat! A sunset cruise was included with the room. The sunset over the still water was magical! The sailboat actually provided pretty comfortable accommodation and I would stay there again! The caption is pretty self-explanatory. Last stop before Cuba! The last day of an amazing trip to Florida!
