You know when you have an idea in your head that just never leaves?
That is how blogging has always been for me. I’ve been debating it for years and actually had a taste of a blogging lifestyle when I blogged for EF CollegeBreak on a trip to London, Paris, and Barcelona. See my adventures here: http://efcollegebreak.tumblr.com/search/crystal. I greatly enjoyed sharing my experiences with everyone, but that was easy; EFCB handled maintenance and promotion and I had a built-in audience. Starting my own blog is much more daunting. However, it may cure my Pinterest addiction (you know you have a Pinterest addiction problem when you go on Pinterest when you randomly wake up at night!) At least running my own blog may be productive; networking, you know? Most published authors have blogs, so I might as well start building some archives. My school schedule is loaded this semester, so I will do my best not to let the blog get in the way of schoolwork, however, my personality is really obsessive. Once I find that I enjoy something, I have to go all in. For example, recreational figure skating wasn’t enough for me. Instead, I had to move 1,584.2 miles away from home to skate at an Olympic Training Center Site. This blog will detail my adventures training alongside elite skaters, my various obsessions (England, books, writing), and when I go abroad, my adventures there! If anyone out there reading this has any tips for a newbie blogger, that would be much appreciated!
