I traveled to San Diego for a few days at the start of May to visit a friend. It was a trip full of yoga classes (goat and aerial!), bioluminescence on the ocean, a George Ezra concert, and beautiful sunsets.Pretty much the first stop of the trip was goat yoga at Sugar Sweet Farm. Yes, that is exactly what it sounds like! Yoga with goats jumping on our backs with periodic stops to hold baby goats! The beaches lit up the week I was there with gorgeous bioluminescence on the ocean! Bioluminescence is caused when certain types of algae light up, but I don't know the exact science behind it. It looked like the northern lights, but in the Pacific Ocean, rather than the Nordic Sky. The first night we saw it, it was a faint glow, but the second night it was bright enough to show up on my camera! Even though I had just seen George Ezra in concert in Denver eight days before his show in San Diego, I ended up watching his concert again. My friend and I had seen him in concert together in 2015 so decided to look for tickets. With the help of my concert fairy, I found the last four face-value tickets left in San Diego! It was definitely worth watching again. ![]() In addition to watching almost every sunset, there were also lots of adorable seals! Overall, it was a great trip, and included a stop at San Diego's Cat Cafe, plus my first time trying aerial yoga. San Diego is a gorgeous city and I had wonderful hosts!
