1) Sleeping through your alarm is not a good way to start your day,
particularly if it results in you missing the first twenty minutes of astronomy lecture. 2) If you are attempting (for the second time) to make healthy cheesecake pancakes from ”I Breathe, I’m Hungry” (http://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/2012/01/cream-cheese-pancakes.html), pay attention to your burners! The first time I tried this recipe, I didn’t have whole eggs, so I just used egg whites…it did not turn out so well. This time I had the Nutri Bullet with the batter on one burner while I waited for the skillet to heat. Silly me turned on the wrong burner…the one with my Nutri Bullet cup! Third time’s a charm? 3) If you are now out of eggs and, thus your planned lunch, do not make a smoothie instead if you are about to go skate. You will freeze the whole session! 4) I am not very versatile in my cooking. I was proud of myself for trying so many new recipes recently, then I realized 95% of what I cook is some form of oatmeal, some form of Nutri Bullet smoothie, or some form of pancake that requires me to blend oatmeal in my Nutri Bullet! I am absolutely obsessed with baked oatmeal. I’ve had baked oatmeal four days in a row: pumpkin pie, pumpkin banana, carrot cake, and banana split. I also had key lime pie overnight oats today. Recipes come from Chocolate Covered Katie (http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/) and The Oatmeal Artist (http://www.theoatmealartist.com/). 5) For some reason I thought it was a good idea to start a blog on the day of craziness! I hope that turns out to be true!
